Euromillions Winners Tuesday 21st February
Published: Updated:
While yesterday's draw saw plenty of cash prizes being won, the jackpot has rolled over yet again
Continuing the trend we've seen since the start of 2012 the Euromillions jackpot has rolled over for the fifth time again. This Friday's jackpot is an estimated €55 million, an amount that will see ticket prices climb. When last the jackpot reached such high amounts, a young couple from the UK -Cassey Carrington & Matt Topham- were the ones to lay claim to this fortune. Will there be yet another UK winner of this marvellous prize? Is it time for one of the other nations to win a big jackpot? Or will it keep rolling over into the hundreds of millions?
Regardless the Euromillions Result for 21/02/2012 of 11, 14, 24, 25, 29 and Lucky Stars 7 and 11 created some significant prize winners. While only 2 people successfully matched 5 numbers and 1 Star to be entitled to €567,892 each, there was a full 14 winners of €27,042. The 15 Euromillions winners who matched just 5 main numbers won't be turning their nose up at that life changing prize. In total there were over 1.9 million winners. 1.2 million of whom only matched 2 main numbers to win the minimuim prize of €4.
Other significant prize winners include 39 winners of €4,854 and an enormous 921 winners of €180. All of these people will certainly be glad they made an entry in the Euromillions lottery. Number 14 which is the fourth most occurring number in the game has made it's 56th appearance. The rarest Lucky Star number 11 was drawn yesterday for the 18th time since the game's change in May 2011. The question on everyone's mind though is what will become of the €55 million prize available on Friday? If you'd like to get your hands on it then you'll have to purchase a ticket, but what's €2.35 investment to win €55 million? Not much at all.
