Euromillions UK Millionaire Raffle
UK Millionaire Raffle
The Millionaire Raffle comprises the Euromillions international lottery side game offering UK players a second chance to hit the big time.
UK Millionaire Raffle Game
The UK Millionaire Raffle is held twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, when the Euromillions draws are held. Lottery hopefuls can not opt out. On purchase of a Euromillions ticket they are automatically issued a Millionaire Raffle number and entered in the draw. Given that it is a raffle there are no tiers or different categories. All nine-digit numbers drawn must be matched to win the prize which is always £1 million. Guaranteed!!!!
In addition, players can win BOTH the Euromillions jackpot and the Millionaire Raffle prize at the same time. Entries do not become invalid if either are won! The odds of winning the Tuesday Millionaire Raffle draw prize is approximately 1 in 5,500,000 whilst players' chances of winning the prize in the Friday Millionaire Raffle draws is approximately 1 in 9,200,000. The odds of winning the Millionaire Raffle vary in accordance with the number of tickets sold and not the winning numbers and letters drawn.
All prizes must be claimed within the 180-day claim period established by the UK National Lottery. In the event that a winner does not step forward within the aforementioned time, the prize is forfeited and promptly donated to UK National Lottery Good Causes.
How to Play
To play the Millionaire Raffle, a Euromillions ticket must be purchased (£2 per ticket). Players then need to select which draw they would like to participate in. Either that of Tuesday or Friday, or both followed by how many weeks (maximum 4) they would like to play. Next, 5 main numbers from a 50 possible needs to be selected plus 2 lucky stars from a possible 11. On purchase of their ticket, lottery hopefuls will receive a unique UK Millionaire Raffle number displayed below the main draw numbers. This three letter and six number combination (e.g. BZP975635) is allocated for every line of Euromillions purchased and automatically entered into the UK Millionaire Raffle draw held on the day selected. An automatic draw machine (ADM) randomly selects the winner who is awarded a £1 million cheque.
